For those who wants to travel and meet new people without spending a lot of money, couch surfing is the best way to do so! couch surf community is estimated about 200.000 persons from all around the planet, most of us are open to adventure and to the world, i am proud to be part of this community and i would like to share my experience with others.

My first Couch surfing experience:

When i first contacted Guillaume and asked him if he can host me for the weekend, he answered me politely that he have a lot of work this weekend and he can’t be a good host and take a good care of me, but he was open for a coffee or a drink.

When i told him that i was coming to see my ex girlfriend and i already booked a hotel, he replied that i don’t even have to do so and his work can wait till next week. And he would be very pleased to welcome me. And so it was.

I am very grateful that he hosted me for 3 days knowing that he had exams and he obliged me to cancel my hotel reservation ” because its more fun and interesting to discover a city with an inside man”.

Guillaume welcomed me with a note saying “ bienvenue nabih” or “welcome nabih”- i was pretty shy when i saw that-

Guillaume is a 24 years old “Bordelais” , he got a white toothy smile, he plays escrime, loves skiing, likes to read manga, and oh i forgot to mention hes a doctor !

He is really fun to be with, he is a caring person who’s is really interested in discovering the other.

When it was time to leave Guillaume hand me Bob and assigned me a mission:
Bring bob back to me, while passing him to other couch surfers:

In fact Guillaume and i had this idea together, Bob wants to travel and to meet new people so he will be passing from oner couch surfer to another and we hope he will come back home one day!
we also wish to see bob in pictures with every couch surfer in every city.

Now Bob is in Paris, but tonight i m meeting new couch surfers and 2 of them are going to Poland, will it be Bob’s ne destination ?

Tonight i am meeting LITTLEWYA and we are in the same team for Sunday treasure hunt

To my biggest surprise i found out that my blog is useful for many persons and reasons.

Crawling down the search queries you can notice that insecurity in Paris is the main search topic, its normal to feel insecure in a big city, any big city would give you the same feeling.
I also noticed that people where looking for social networking sites like “peuplade” ,cafés like “3W” renting a flat, artists like norah jones or jens offersen.
